Becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority is a transformative expertise for a lot of girls. AKA is the oldest traditionally African American sorority, based in 1908 on the campus of Howard College. The sorority’s mission is to domesticate and encourage black girls in academia and their communities.
There are various advantages to becoming a member of AKA. Members achieve entry to a community of profitable and supportive girls who can present mentorship, steerage, and assist. AKA additionally provides a wide range of applications and initiatives that assist members develop their management abilities, interact in group service, and pursue their academic and profession objectives.
